|
WLAN components for 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz
We developed and co-designed a couple of ISM-band transceivers for different applications such as wireless metering. |
|
Transceiver frontends for 868 MHz
Our 868 MHz transceiver frontend incorporates a linear PA with digital interface, SPI-programmable fractional-N-synthesizer as well as programmable linear receiver. It can be used for both FSK systems and 15.4 PSSS systems which offer superior data rate and range. Parallel Sequence Spread Spectrum (PSSS) is an invention of Dr. Wolf Wireless GmbH. Transceiver frontend for 403 MHz
The 403 MHz transceiver is a development for medical implant systems. It features an advanced low-power RF architecture. |

3.3 V 10.7 Gb/s N-side down laser driver
LD10Gn is a laser driver for N-side-down laser diodes. It can drive a 100mA laser from a 3.3V supply without need for external components. Monitoring and data retiming functions are included. The picture shows the demonstrator PCB. It is an RF multilayer PCBs with FR4 carrier and PTFE/ceramic layer. It shows the laser driver die, laser diode and monitor diode as well as the fiber pigtail.

Eye diagram monitor for 40 Gb/s
The EDM is a low-power device capable of monitoring wideband data signals. Its outputs a digital image of an eye diagram of the signal. With bandwidths of >30 GHz, amplitude resolution of about 6 mV and phase resolution up to 1ps it can be used to monitor 40 Gb/s signals. Applications include inline Q-factor monitoring or control of equalizer systems in fiber communication links.

|
10Gs/s Electronic Dispersion Compensator
The EDC is a blind-adaptive dispersion compensating equalizer. It's purpose is to extend the data rate from 1Gb/s to 10Gb/s in existing multi-mode links. It uses a 9-tap continuous time FIR filter and LMS adaption.

|
Clock- and data recovery IC (PLL) for 10 Gb/s
We developed several tailored CDR designs for different applications. They are used in fiber links, measurement equipment and other applications. |
|
BiCMOS Gate Array
Our development targets fast glue logic at small or medium quantity as typically seen in fiber communication markets but also for advanced measurement equipment. Beside 10Gb/s ECL logic, CMOS logic and analog functions can be integrated by customization of the interconnect layers based on a module library. This allows to create advanced ASICs with reduced risk and expenses. |
